On night two of doubleheader, Miller Central Speedway features go to Nelson, Peterson and Bogh

MILLER, SD (August 3) - Trevor Nelson, Jayme Peterson, and Jayden Bogh added their names to the WISSOTA Dirt Track Series winners list for the weekend at Miller Central Speedway on Saturday, as they took trips to victory lane during the second night of the track’s two-day special.

Nelson started outside of the third row in the WISSOTA Super Stocks, gaining the lead by lap six and driving to the checkered flag by more than 5.5 seconds ahead of runner-up Damon Hoftiezer. Shawn Schnabel, Gerrit Van Liere, and Andrew Zastrow rounded out the top five.

In the WISSOTA Midwest Mods, Peterson started inside of the second row and took the top spot by the second trip around the Miller, SD oval. Eighth-starter Dawson Zabel improved six spots to second, Friday night winner Lane Johnson was third, 11th-starter Nick Perry picked his way forward to fourth, and Jordan Kienow was fifth.

Bogh started on the pole of the WISSOTA Street Stock main event, but spent the majority of the race in second behind his fellow front-row starter Jace Baloun. With just a lap to go, Bogh took the lead and hung on for the win ahead of Baloun, eighth-starter Maria Broksieck, Broc Stout, and Kenneth Clements in the top five.

Bryan Roach won in the Non-Winged Sprints class, while Cody Songer was victorious in the track’s Pure Stock class.
