Friday night Fiesta City winners list includes Olsen, Blascyk, Hedtke, DeJong, Brauer and Kampsen

MONTEVIDEO, MN (July 26) - Fifteen WISSOTA Modifieds came to Fiesta City Speedway for the $1,500-to-win feature on Friday night, highlighting WISSOTA Dirt Track Series action at the Montevideo race track.

Brendan Blascyk scored the big victory in the Mods, while other winners in WISSOTA action included Charlie Olsen, Shane DeJong, Kole Kampsen, Kolton Brauer, and Andrew Hedtke.

Onyx Johnson took the lead to start the WISSOTA Midwest Modified feature. Nine laps into the race, Ethen Waltz came across the track to enter the pits right in front of Johnson, and Johnson went into the wall in turn one. This ended his night.

After another incident on the restart, Shane DeJong became the new leader. DeJong went on to get his second win of the year as he held off Taten Blascyk for the victory. Darren Engesser improved five spots to third, ninth-starter Dave Storck was fourth, and Gage Myers completed the top five.

Kolton Brauer led the entire WISSOTA Street Stock feature for his fourth win of the season. Josh Long, Mike Jans, Zachary Flickinger and Micheal Brockman were top-five finishers.

Travis Scott jumped to the lead at the beginning of the WISSOTA Super Stock feature. Shawn Schnabel took over out front a few laps later. Andrew Hedtke took the lead on lap six, and he went on to get his first win of the year, and first at Fiesta City Speedway since 2016. Karter Reents, Ryan Satter, Schnabel, and Brayden Hedtke completed the top five.

Charlie Olsen led the WISSOTA Late Model feature flag to flag for his first feature win at Fiesta City Speedway. Matt Gilbertson, Jayson Good, Jordan Tollakson and Jon Tollakson rounded out the top five.

In the headlining Modified feature, Nate Heinrich was the early leader of the 20-lap contest. Brendan Blascyk took the lead from Heinrich on lap eight, and went on to get his first feature win at Fiesta City Speedway. Heinrich, Seth Brede, Jake Smith and Tyler Kaeter were top-five finishers.

Kole Kampsen led the WISSOTA Hornet feature from start to finish for his fifth win of the year. He was chased to the checkered flag by Adam VanDerostyne, Brady Albertson, Jerik Stabler and Paxton Tjaden in the top five.

Justin Erp took the lead to begin the Pure Stock feature, before Tad Peterson got by on the very next lap. With six laps to go, Sophie Anderson took her turn in leading the pack, before Coltyn Schuler drove by Anderson the very next lap and went on to win his 10th-straight feature.
