Championship night honors at Hibbing belong to feature winners Massingill, Broking, LaBarge, Blevins and…another LaBarge

HIBBING, MN (August 24) - Hibbing Raceway hosted its season championship on Saturday night. Jeff Massingill, Bob Broking, Tristan LaBarge, Mikey Blevins and Addison LaBarge topped WISSOTA Dirt Track Series action.

Massingill grabbed the feature win in the WISSOTA Late Models. He started third on the grid and outran Harry Hanson for the checkered flag. Kyle Peterlin finished third, 2024 point champion Johnny Broking was fourth, and Jeff Provinzino rounded out the top five.

Bob Broking charged from seventh at the start to win the WISSOTA Modified main event. Tyler Kintner started fifth, but settled for second while Andrew Inman earned the point championship with a third-place finish. Jeffrey Wood and John Toppozini rounded out the top five.

Tristan LaBarge capped his WISSOTA Super Stock point title with the feature win as well on Saturday. He fired off from eighth on the grid, and outran Kevin Salin, Rick Simpson, Andy LaBarge and Robert Lore to the checkers.

Mikey Blevins captured the WISSOTA Midwest Modified feature event after starting in the second row. Andy Davey battled forward from seventh for second, while Sam Blevins earned the point title with a podium finish. Chad VanDuker and Mervin Castle III rounded out the top five.

Addison LaBarge topped WISSOTA Hornet action at the speedway. McKenna Folstad rallied from eighth to second with Trenton Beel third, 2024 point champion Jada Lore fourth and Mikayla LaBarge fifth.
