Miller hosts two days of speedy fun, and on night one, Skorczewski, Stearns, Kopecky, Zabel and Broksieck take wins

MILLER, SD (August 9) - Miller Central Speedway was host to a two-day show August 9-10, with Friday night’s WISSOTA Dirt Track Series winners including Josh Skorczewski, Mike Stearns, Brad Kopecky, Dawson Zabel, and Maria Broksieck.

Skorczewski delivered from his eighth starting spot in the WISSOTA Late Models, taking the win ahead of polesitter David Carlson. Trevor Anderson advanced three spots to third, while Justin Boomsma was fourth and Curt Kranz completed the top five.

In the WISSOTA Modifieds, Mike Stearns collected another win for his 2024 season, grabbing the top honors ahead of Brock Gronwold, Dylan Zabel, Tony Konold and Garrett Gross in the top five.

Brad Kopecky added another Miller Central victory to his 2024 season accomplishments, netting the WISSOTA Super Stock win ahead of Dominique Menzia, Corey Elward, Kody Lehr, and Derek Zastrow in the top five.

In the WISSOTA Street Stock feature, Maria Broksieck picked her way forward from outside of the fourth row to take home the win. Jayden Bogh, Broc Stout, 11th-starter Andy Rossow, and 12th-starter Clifford Houser completed the top five.

Dawson Zabel notched another win in the WISSOTA Midwest Mods at Miller Friday night, scoring the victory ahead of Jayme Peterson. Tenth-starter Lorin Johnson, Britt Williams and Jordan Kienow rounded out the top five.
