After a Month of Money at Black Hills, Friday’s WISSOTA winners are Leiker, Pourier and Larson

RAPID CITY, SD (May 31) - Black Hills Speedway hosted its fourth week of WISSOTA Dirt Track Series action May 31, which was also the fourth night of its Month of Money series.

At the end of the night, Tony Leiker, Warren Pourier, Jr., and Dean Larson stood proudly with checkered flags in hand in the WISSOTA-sanctioned classes.

Leiker used his front-row starting spot to his advantage, leading from start to finish in the WISSOTA Midwest Mods. Paul Parks improved three spots to second, Matt Heinzerling advanced four spots to complete the podium, and Brennan Davis and Darin Hauff completed the top five.

Pourier also started from the front-row in the WISSOTA Street Stocks and held the advantage for the entirety of the race. He was followed to the stripe by Les Cuny, Leonard Ferguson, Cole Phillips and Jaren Puhlman in the top five.

Larson led the WISSOTA Mod Four field to the checkered flag once again, collecting his 13th season victory in 16 starts. He was chased to the checkered flags by Kyle Hardesty, Rob Arlaud, Branden Torres and Khi Jackson in the top five.

In the track’s other action, Eric Mass (Modifieds) and Brett Konst (Hobby Stocks) were also victorious.
