Reinke and Christ claim opening night wins at Tri-County Speedway Thursday
WISHEK, ND (May 30) - Zach Reinke and Billie Christ topped WISSOTA Dirt Track Series action Thursday, May 30 at Tri-County Speedway, as the track opened for its 2024 season.
Reinke had a tough customer in Lucas Rodin behind him to the checkered in the WISSOTA Midwest Modifieds, but was able to prevail for his first win of the season. Rodin, Brennon Weight, Lane Johnson and Luke Johnson completed the top five.
Christ, who started sixth on the grid, held off the charging eighth-starter Jodie Michaelsohn for the victory, his second straight in early season competition. Clay Gentzkow, Braden Brauer and Mike Mund were top-five finishers.
In the track’s Legends feature, Donavin Wiest was the winner from the front row, while Derrick Appert was victorious in the Hobby Stocks.
