Bosch bolts out of the eighth starting spot on way to winning Midwest Mod main at Casper Speedway
CASPER, WY (May 31) - Friday night dirt fights were back underway May 31 at Casper Speedway, highlighted by Jake Bosch’s victory in WISSOTA Dirt Track Series action at the Casper, Wyoming speedplant.
Bosch started eighth in the WISSOTA Midwest Modified field and picked his way forward to the front, getting by front-row starter Shawn Reed and driving on for the win. Reed was second ahead of Rick Chorniak and Anthony Peterson as the top four finishing drivers in the field.
Trevor Kirkland won the headlining Sprint feature, while Jim Reiter picked up another win in the Rocky Mtn. Hard Top class. Dalton Hatten (Dwarf), Ray Konkler (Sport Compacts), and Larry Wagner (Hobby Stocks) were also victorious Friday.
