Meirhofer and Jarvey split WISSOTA class wins Saturday at Electric City Speedway
GREAT FALLS, MT (June 8) - Electric City Speedway continued its 2024 version of the WISSOTA Dirt Track Series on Saturday night, where Jeremy Meirhofer and Kyle Jarvey split the victories and earned top honors in their divisions.
Meirhofer, in the WISSOTA Midwest Modifieds, started in the fourth row of the 20-lap feature. He moved to the front of the pack before the halfway mark, and raced away to the victory by more than two seconds, his first of the season at the oval. Joey Price settled for second ahead of C.R. Eisenzimer, Patrick LaMere and Michael Shure.
Jarvey, in the WISSOTA Street Stocks, made his way back to victory lane at Electric City for the first time since 2020. He started on the front row, and raced to the checkers with the field nipping at his heels. Marvin Gonzales moved to second late in the event with Dave Azure third, Patrick Harvie fourth and Caden Craver fifth.
Jordan Tocci grabbed the Modified victory, and Chas Matye picked up the Sport Compact win on Saturday night, as well.
