Leiker leads Midwest Mods and Uroszek topples Street Stocks in WISSOTA action at Sheridan, WY

SHERIDAN, WY (May 5) - WISSOTA Dirt Track Series racers Tony Leiker, Chris Uroszek and Dean Larson took home victories Sunday, as Sheridan Speedway completed its second week of the 2024 season.

Uroszek scored his first victory of the young season in the Street Stocks, taking the victory ahead of Robert Petroff, Troy Cepak, Jr., Sheldon Ridenhower, and Ken Harmon in the top five.

Tony Leiker did the same in the Midwest Modifieds. He was followed across the stripe by Chad Switzenberg, Austin Long, Justin Will, and Shawn Reed.

Dean Larson drove to his fourth win in four starts in the Mod Fours. Garrett Bietz, Dax Reher, Andrew Adams, and Ryanne Keesling were top-five finishers.

In the track’s other action, Bart Taylor topped the Modifieds, and Wolfi Gensch was the winner in the Sport Compacts.
