Brauer bags up $1,000 for Street Stock win at Viking while Thoennes, Satter, Bitzan and Dittman also deliver on Saturday

ALEXANDRIA, MN (May 25) - Viking Speedway kicked off their Memorial Day weekend doubleheader on Saturday night, May 25. Ryan Satter continued his impressive debut season in the Super Stocks with the second win of his rookie campaign. Josh Thoennes, Tanner Bitzan, Braden Brauer and Matthew Dittman also collected WISSOTA Dirt Track Series wins.

Satter, the longtime Street Stock pilot, started fourth in the WISSOTA Super Stock main event and navigated to the lead in the opening laps. He drove to the checkers with a more than two-second lead on runner-up Bailey Rosch. Ryan Kostreba was third with Travis Scott fourth and Trevor Nelson fifth.

Brauer topped a field of 44 entries in the WISSOTA Street Stock Tour field. He took the lead near the midpoint of the 20-lap main event, and earned the feature victory from the seventh starting position. Eric Riley battled to a second-place finish with Kyle Dykhoff third, Ty Agen fourth and Kolton Brauer fifth.

Josh Thoennes led the distance for the WISSOTA Modified feature win. Brady Gerdes fought his way into second in the final stages ahead of Travis Saurer, Dustin Bitzan and Justin Froemming.

Tanner Bitzan led much of the way in the 15-lap WISSOTA Midwest Modified feature for his first win of the season at Viking. Travis Engebretson finished second with 10th-starter Haley Dykhoff the final driver on the podium. Josh Muzik and Scott Oeltjen rounded out the top five.

Dittman claimed his second WISSOTA Hornet main event win of the season. Jeff Rohner was second ahead of Kole Kampson, Chase Pourrier and Adam VanDerostyne.
