Loomis launches from the third row and finishes out front in Super Stocks at Cedar Lake

NEW RICHMOND, WI (May 25) - Cedar Lake Speedway hosted the Cook Memorial on Saturday night, May 25. Mike Loomis posted his second Super Stock win of the year at the oval in WISSOTA Dirt Track Series action.

Loomis started on the inside of the third row when the WISSOTA Super Stock main event took the green. He worked his way to the front in the opening half of the 20-lap race and led the field to the checkered flag. Ron Mahder started seventh, but secured second late in the going and finished runner-up, while John Adams, who paced the opening laps, settled for the final podium position. Dan Nissalke and Brandon Clemens rounded out the top five.

Cade Nelson drove to the USRA Late Model win, Cam Schafer earned the Traditional Sprint victory, Adam Soltis topped the Street Stocks and Garrett Tatnell won the Micro Sprint main event in other action at the oval.
