Conrad, Johnson and Moore make out like Bandits with WISSOTA wins Saturday

BOX ELDER, SD (May 25) - Bandit Speedway opened for the 2024 season on Saturday, welcoming racers in three WISSOTA-sanctioned classes, including the Midwest Mods, Street Stocks and Mod Fours.

Winners in those classes included Rex Conrad, Dillon Johnson, and Shelby Moore.

Conrad moved by front-row starters Sean McHenry and Nick Ekstrand to grab the eventual victory in the WISSOTA Midwest Mods, the first for him this season. Ekstrand, Paxton George and McHenry were the final four finishers of the event.

In the WISSOTA Street Stocks, Dillon Johnson drove to the victory from his front-row starting spot, his first of the season. Jayden Michaelsohn, Cole Phillips, Toby Price and Les Cuny chased him to the checkered flag in the top five.

Moore topped the WISSOTA Mod Fours from a front-row start as well, taking the checkered flag ahead of Rob Arlaud, Kyle Hardesty, and Khi Jackson.

Other feature winners at Bandit included Tom Sires, Lyndon Bolt, and Michael Logelin.
