Hauff becomes third different Midwest Mod winner at 2024 East-West Clash while Holtquist completes a triple in the Mod Fours at Gillette, WY

GILLETTE, WY (September 1) - Dustin Holtquist won all three nights of the 24th annual East-West Clash at Gillette Thunder Speedway, while Darin Hauff made it three different winners in the Midwest Modifieds on Sunday.

Holtquist started on the front row of the WISSOTA Mod Four feature, and led all the way to dominate the weekend in the Mod Fours. Robert Holtquist once again followed his son across the line in second with Dean Larson third. Blake Erickson made a charge from ninth to fourth, and 10th-starter Shelli Lind rounded out the top five.

Hauff won a late-race duel with Troy Leiker for the victory in the WISSOTA Midwest Modified main event. Leiker settled for second ahead of Connor Friske, Kyle Harkin and 18th-starter Tony Leiker.

Eddie Kirchoff won all three of the weekend’s Late Model features, and picked up his second IMCA Modified feature win of the weekend on Sunday. Travis Landauer also won his second Hobby Stock main event of the weekend.
