Henkemeyer heads home with a cool grand after topping Super Stock field at Fiesta City Speedway

MONTEVIDEO, MN (August 9) - A total of sixteen WISSOTA Super Stocks came to Fiesta City Speedway for a $1,000-to-win feature on Friday.

Jordan Henkemeyer topped the Super Stock special, while other WISSOTA Dirt Track Series winners included Jordan Tollakson, Nate Heinrich, Derek Rieck, Mike Jans, and Brady Albertson.

Onyx Johnson took the lead to start the WISSOTA Midwest Modified feature. Derek Rieck got by Johnson to take the top spot with eight laps to go and went on to get his second straight feature win and fourth of the year. Johnson was second ahead of Shane DeJong, eighth-starter Justin Bjorklund, and Darren Engesser in the top five.

Taylor Willms was the early leader of the WISSOTA Street Stock feature. Alex Grinager took over the lead on lap three, before Mike Jans got by on the next lap and went on to win his fourth feature of the season. Eighth-starter Kolton Brauer was second, Willms was third, Ty Schuler was fourth and Derek Zieske completed the top five.

In the headlining Super Stock feature, Henkemeyer led the entire event for the big check and his first feature win at Fiesta City Speedway. Karter Reents, Trevor Nelson, Brayden Hedtke, and Bailey Rosch were top-five finishers.

Jordan Tollakson passed C.J. Eilers on lap two of the WISSOTA Late Model feature, and led the rest of the way for his second win of the year. He was chased to the checkered flag by seventh-starter Matt Gilbertson, Jon Tollakson, Jayson Good, and Eilers in the top five.

In the WISSOTA Modified feature, Wade Skindelien was the early leader. On lap four, Seth Brede took over out front. Nate Heinrich got by Brede into the lead at the halfway point of the race, and went on to win his second straight feature and third of the year. Heinrich also won the 2024 Modified track championship as well. Seventh-starter Zach Johnson was second, Brian Haben was third, Ryan Flaten raced into fourth, and ninth-starter Jacob Knapper completed the top five.

Dalton Haag led the WISSOTA Hornet feature until Brady Albertson raced past on the final lap for his fourth win of the season and second in a row. Haag, Adam VanDerostyne, Bradley Rossow, and Paxton Tjaden rounded out the top five.

Ian Tjaden took the lead to begin the Pure Stock feature. On lap three, Tjaden spun out in turn two, handing the lead over to Jesse Timm. Coltyn Schuler scooted past in the final laps and went on to win his 11th feature of the season.
