Henkemeyer and Nelson knock down wins on rare Tuesday night at Superior’s Gondik Law Speedway

SUPERIOR, WI (July 2) - Darrell Nelson drove to victory lane at Gondik Law Speedway Tuesday night in the WISSOTA Modifieds, as the class – and the WISSOTA Super Stocks – supported the XR Series Super Late Models at the Superior, Wisconsin speedplant. Jordan Henkemeyer came out on top in the Supers to highlight WISSOTA Dirt Track Series action for the evening.

In the Modifieds, Nelson started from the pole and drove away to a near 4.5-second advantage ahead of second-place Jake Hartung. Cole Chernosky, Jody Bellefeuille, and 11th-starter Jack Rivord were top-five finishers.

Henkemeyer’s victory in the Super Stocks was about three seconds at the stripe, as he grabbed top honors ahead of D.J. Keeler, Matt Deragon, Scott Lawrence, and Dexton Koch.

In the grand finale for the night, Nick Hoffman – longtime national Modified standout and now full-time regular with the World of Outlaws – drove to the hefty open Late Model payday ahead of Bobby Pierce, Devin Moran, Mike Marlar and Dennis Erb, Jr.
