Fiesta City’s Friday winners list includes Gilbertson, Reentz, Storck, Flickinger and Stabler when features are finished

MONTEVIDEO, MN (July 12) - A total of 22 IMCA Stock Cars came to Fiesta City Speedway Friday night for the first time since 2006, in a special supported by WISSOTA Dirt Track Series action in the Late Models, Super Stocks, Midwest Mods, Street Stocks and Hornets. The track’s Pure Stocks were also part of the program.

WISSOTA-sanctioned winners included Karter Reents, Corey Storck, Zachary Flickinger, Jerik Stabler, and Matt Gilbertson.

Derek Rieck took the lead to start the WISSOTA Midwest Modified feature. Corey Storck took the lead from Rieck with four laps to go and went on to get his first win of the season. Rieck, DeJong, Darren Engesser, and Gage Myers completed the top five.

Chris Behrens took the lead to begin the WISSOTA Street Stock feature. Zachary Flickinger moved out front on lap three, and held off eighth-starter Mike Jans in the final laps for first feature win at Fiesta City Speedway. Josh Long, Ty Schuler, and Chris Behrens completed the top five.

Johnathon Logue was the early leader of the IMCA Stock Car feature. Jonny Carter drove past on lap three and never looked back to get his first feature win at Fiesta City Speedway. Curt Lund, Dan Mackenthun, Logue and Josh Larsen completed the top five.

Karter Reents led the entire WISSOTA Super Stock feature for his first win of the season. Jacob Knapper, Bailey Rosch, Dexton Koch and Dustin Zieske were top-five finishers.

Chuck Swenson jumped to the lead to start the WISSOTA Late Model feature. Matt Gilbertson took the lead after a few laps and led the rest of the way for his third feature of the year. Jordan Tollakson, Jon Tollakson, Dustin Johanneck and Damin Eilers rounded out the top five.

Bradley Rossow took the lead at the beginning of the WISSOTA Hornet feature. Jerik Stabler got by on the very next lap and held on for his third win of the season. Rossow, Adam VanDerostyne, Kole Kampsen, and Dalton Haag were in the top five.

Sophie Anderson led every lap of the Pure Stock feature except the final lap, as Coltyn Schuler passed Anderson on the final lap to win his eighth-straight feature of the year.
