Harkin, Ferguson and Holtquist roll rapidly to WISSOTA wins at Black Hills Speedway

RAPID CITY, SD (June 14) - Kyle Harkin, Leonard Ferguson and Robert Holtquist were victors in WISSOTA Dirt Track Series action Friday night, June 14 at Black Hills Speedway, during the Rapid City, South Dakota speedway’s Pack the Stands night.

Harkin started outside the second row in the WISSOTA Midwest Modified main event, getting to the front early and driving to his third feature victory of 2024 ahead of Scott Tyrrell and Paul Parks in the top three. Joel Morris and Rex Conrad were top-five finishers.

Leonard Ferguson led from green to checkered in the WISSOTA Street Stock feature from his fifth starting spot. He garnered the win ahead of Eric Mass, Warren Pourier, Jr., Jaren Puhlman, and Andy Fitzgerald.

In the WISSOTA Mod Fours, Robert Holtquist broke the stranglehold Dean Larson has had on western WISSOTA country Mod Four feature wins, taking the victory Friday just .624 seconds ahead of Larson. Tristan Torres, Shelli Lind, and Khi Jackson were top-five finishers.

Brett Konst won in the track’s Hobby Stock action, Connor Friske was the winner of the Modified feature, and Adam Speckman won the Sprint Car feature.
