MONTEVIDEO, MN (May 17) - Friday night at Fiesta City Speedway featured specials for two entry-level divisions: the track’s Pure Stock class as well as the WISSOTA Hornets. When the checkered flags flew, Kole Kampsen and Coltyn Schuler took home the big victories.

They were joined in WISSOTA Dirt Track Series victory lane by Matt Gilbertson, Justin VanEps, Jacob Knapper, Kolton Brauer and Derek Rieck.

Bradley Rossow was the early leader to start the WISSOTA Hornet feature. Kampsen took the lead at the halfway point of the race and went to get his first win of the year. Sixth-starter Brady Albertson improved four spots to second, Rossow was third, Jerik Stabler was fourth and Adam VanDerostyne completed the top five.

In the other headlining feature, Jared Kelm was out front early in the Pure Stocks. On lap three Schuler got by to take the top spot, and held on for his second straight win. Jason Best, Landon Albertson, Jared Kelm, and Tad Peterson were top-five finishers.
