Four-way split across two nights at Emo Speedway; the winner list includes Brown, Pelepetz, Paull and Caul

EMO, ON (May 18-19) - WISSOTA Dirt Track Series action kicked off north of the border over the weekend, with Emo Speedway’s season-opening doubleheader. Cameron Brown, Brandon Pelepetz, Garrett Paull and Brady Caul each earned a victory during the course of the weekend.

Brown captured the WISSOTA Modified win on Saturday night. He started on the pole and stayed ahead of eighth-starter Jeff Davis at the checkers. Tony Caissie, Curtis Stieh and Brody Strachan collected top-five finishes.

Pelepetz scored Sunday’s Modified win after a front-row start. Davis rallied from ninth, but again settled for second with Mike Wilson third, Raice Westover fourth and Denny Trimble fifth.

Paull raced from sixth to earn the WISSOTA Midwest Modified feature win on Saturday. Davis started seventh, and was second at the finish once more. Edward Bell, Brandon Rehill and Gavin Paull rounded out the top five.

Caul was Sunday’s Midwest Modified winner. He started third on the grid, and outran David Simpson for the triumph. James Lambert was third ahead of Glen Manning and Wyatt Boyum.

Brendan Makkinga and A.J. Kellar split the Street Stock victories over the weekend, and Kyler Makkinga topped Sunday’s Hornet action.
