Western Wisconsin racers & fans, it’s time for the Rice Lake Car Show March 27-30

RICE LAKE, WI – Following the big announcement recently concerning the sale of Rice Lake Speedway, the new owners, operating as Rice Lake Speedway LLC, have settled in. They’ve begun the many tasks needed to update the facility and get ready for the 2024 season opener, scheduled for Saturday, April 20.

The first official event will be the annual Rice Lake Speedway car show, to be held at Rice Lake's Cedar Mall, as it has been for many years. This year's event is scheduled for March 27-30. Because of the Easter holiday that weekend, the car show schedule has been slightly modified. Race cars will enter the mall on Wednesday night at 6 p.m. and must be removed from the mall on Saturday, March 30 at 3 p.m.

Kolby Kiehl, spokesman for Rice Lake Speedway LLC, is welcoming all race cars and karts to be a part of the program. Cars that race in every class at the speedway are expected to be part of the show, as well as go-karts from the Rice Lake Speedway Speed Pit.

This will be the first official opportunity for fans and competitors to meet the new owners of the speedway, Kolby and Dean Kiehl and Dick Kalow. They look forward to sharing their vision for the speedway with all racers and fans. Schedules for the 2024 racing season are expected to be available as well as other information about the upcoming season.
