Schill scores Super Stock win on final night of Cedar Lake Speedway action
NEW RICHMOND, WI (September 28) - Cedar Lake Speedway brought its 2024 season to a close on Saturday, September 28 with the New Richmond, Wisconsin’s high-banked oval offering a Fall Fun Day for racers and fans.
In WISSOTA-sanctioned action, Jason Schill topped the WISSOTA Super Stocks.
Schill started outside of the third row, taking the lead with a handful of laps left and grabbing the victory by .648 seconds ahead of seventh-starter Mike Loomis. Lucas Christiansen, Denny Schouveller, and Ron Mahder completed the top five.
In the other action at the track Saturday, Cody Borgeson (Midwest Mods), Ken Hron (Traditional Sprints), Brett Peterson (Winged Sprints), and Hunter VanGilder (Street Stocks) were also victorious.
