Hauff, Petroff and Arlaud fly past the final checkers of 2024 at Bandit Speedway
BOX ELDER, SD (October 5) - Darin Hauff, Robert Petroff, and Rob Arlaud were WISSOTA Dirt Track Series winners Saturday, October 5, as Bandit Speedway brought its 2024 season to a close near Box Elder, South Dakota.
Hauff started outside of the second row in the WISSOTA Midwest Mods, taking the victory ahead of front-row starters Rex Conrad and Joel Morris in the top three. Nick Ekstrand and Derek Altman were top-five finishers.
Petroff garnered his 24th victory of the season in the WISSOTA Street Stocks, driving to the win ahead of Warren Pourier, Jr. and Leonard Ferguson on the podium. Troy Murner and Les Cuny rounded out the top five.
In the WISSOTA Mod Fours, Arlaud took advantage of his front-row starting spot to pick up the win ahead of second-row starter Tristan Torres. Gatlin Comer improved five spots to third, while Teresa Schuler was fourth. Tenth-starter Khi Jackson completed the top five.
In other racing action at the track, Dan Henrickson was victorious in the Late Models, while DJ Brink won in the 360 Winged Sprints class.
